Baltimore's Healey named MISL Player of Week
Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Baltimore midfielder Pat Healey scored four goals and added two assists over the weekend to lead the Blast to back-to-back wins over the Chicago Riot, and earned the Major Indoor Soccer League's Player of the Week award.
Healey recorded two goals in Saturday's 18-17 victory, the first of which was a power play goal that gave the Blast its first lead of the night (6-4 in the first quarter).
Sunday night in a 15-10 win at Chicago, Healey had two goals again, including another power play goal, and added the game-tying assist to Warren Ukah and the game-winning assist to Pat Morris.
The 2009 Rookie of the Year, Healey leads the Blast and is tied for third in the MISL with 43 points so far this season. He was also named MISL Player of the Week earlier this season.
