Arroyo shines as Reds rout Phillies
Bronson Arroyo
Bronson Arroyo tossed 7 2/3 scoreless innings and struck out six.
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Bronson Arroyo tossed 7 2/3 scoreless innings and struck out six as the Cincinnati Reds blanked the Philadelphia Phillies, 10-0, in the second of a three-game set from Citizens Bank Park.

The Reds put up a three-spot in the second inning to provide a cushion for Arroyo (4-4), who yielded just five hits while issuing two walks. Following consecutive singles by Todd Frazier and Donald Lutz, each of whom had two hits and an RBI, catcher Ryan Hanigan delivered a no-doubter to left field for his first home run of the season.

Joey Votto went 4-for-4 with a homer and drew two walks in six trips to the plate for Cincinnati, which won for the 11th time in 14 contests.  continue>>
